The Glue:
Long time no write. I have a few notes on some of the changes you may see soon enough.
I have been in a huge debate with myself on several items I’ve been doing over the past year. After evaluating the end products and looking at where I want to go from here, I’m going to be making just a few changes, procedurally to the site.
1) There will no longer be a “weekly glue article or posting.” I decided to kill off the Glue as I knew it for one reason, I started to hate doing it. It was fun for a while, giving my thoughts on random items, but I had to step back and ask myself, “Is this what I want the site to be? A weekly article and an occasional release?” It has gotten to the point where I was worried what I was going to post, and ended up posting a lame excuse or something I didn’t want to work on. In the end all it did was take away time that could have been spent on releases or other work. So (at least for now) it’s gone. I may bring it back one day…but don’t count on it.
2) I’m going to be pulling down the majority of the work I have out there. Including but not limited to, all OLD TNL items. They served a purpose in the past, when I had very little to release, but now, with some items out, I no longer want to leave them up. I am no longer affiliated with the group, and it’s time to cut all ties from it. I also will be cutting out all AMV’s that I created in the past, and will now no longer post them on my site or on Youtube. I may update you regarding them if I do one, but lets just say, I don’t want them associated with a generalized production house and it just makes my site cleaner. It was a good run, don’t get me wrong, I learned a lot, but it has no real place in my portfolio anymore.
3) Any new updates to the site will be in the form of new releases, site updates, or general news that’s worthy enough to post. Everything else update wise will be from twitter. Keep an eye on it if you want to know when a release is coming up.
And that’s it for right now. Expect these changes to go into effect before the start of the new season. I’ll be trimming down the site again and getting it ready to roll when the time is right. If you happen to be a fan of the old content, you best enjoy it now before it’s gone for good. I’ll be announcing updates regarding the new season sometime before the end of the year, so keep an eye out.
